“I have not been a lover of Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) activities. I have always believed in first thing first for the Igbo nation. Given that it’s on record that we (Igbos) own 62% of the estates and good edifices in Abuja and also own over 50% of Lagos. I am skeptical that the Biafra thing will work. I am also of the opinion that every Igbo sons should face and invest in the east, but looking at the latest drama going on,I am forced to ask where is our so called Igbo leaders.
“How did we manage to get to where we are now as a race? How come the whole 5 Igbo governors are silent on the issues that bothers on Nnamdi Kanu’s continual illegal detention?
Why did we breed cowards and selfish people as leaders? Every one of our so called leaders is afraid of loosing one thing or the other if he/she speaks out.
“Why would Justice BINTA NYAKO mentioned secret trial for Nnamdi Kanu whose offence was committed publicly? To worsen the situation, she said that the witnesses will be masked. What is happening? I am forced to question our true purpose of unity in this one Nigeria.
“I am not a fan of divorce and should this marriage become this unhealthy, I will advocate for a peaceful divorce.
“We have the likes of Kabiru Sokoto that has murdered hundreds of innocent people roaming freely in Kuje and hopeful to be released soonest while Nnamdi Kanu that is just a freedom crusader is being taunted like he killed a seating President. Where are we headed for?
“To our so called Governors and other elder statesmen,at the end,we will not remember the affront of Justice BINTA NYAKO but your Cowardice and Silence,” – Hon. Demian Igbokwe wrote.
