Proposed Osisioma Flyover Project About To Start – Roland Enyinna Reports

“Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will this friday, January 20, 2017 perform the ground breaking ceremony of the OSISIOMA FLYOVER, the FIRST EVER FLYOVER IN ABIA STATE,” Roland Akachukwu Enyinna reports.

“The flyover which is designed to cover the areas around the Osisioma Junction in Aba will ease traffic flow on the Enugu PH Express way, making it smooth for travelers who have no plan to drive into Aba to continue their journey on the expressway.

“Since the creation on Abia State 25 years ago, indeed, since the creation of the Old Imo State in 1976, no such project has ever been undertaken by any government,” according to the report.

Meanwhile, other observers of Abia politics say that the issue of worker’s salary in Abia State should be the number one priority than the flyover because of the lean revenue accruing to Abia State.

“Again if all worker die of hunger due to non payment of our nine (9) months salary arears who then will use the flyover being built. My able Governor we know you have good intentions, but salaries first, thank you,” Chukwuemeka Okoro wrote.
