The Executive Director, Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) David O. Anyaele speaking at a panel discussion hosted for 2017 International Visitor Leadership Programme – Marginalized Population and Healthcare by the Washington Global Health Alliance and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
According to Meridian International Center, “Nigerian visitor David Anyaele is no stranger to hardship. Mr. Anyaele was involved in an attack that left him without hands. Since then, he has dedicated his life to addressing difficulties many disabled people face in securing health-care in his country. The culmination of his work is the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD), Nigeria’s first NGO to fully concentrate on serving the disabled population. Mr. Anyaele is now participating in an#IVLP focused on providing health care to marginalized populations. This photo shows him answering questions about his work in global health during a panel discussion hosted by the Washington Global Health Alliance and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.”
