Chima Anyaso Issues A Disclaimer Regarding a Political Poster Found Around Funeral Site

Public Announcement

“It has come to my notice the unwholesome action of some Abia Youths who over the weekend (21 st October, 2017) with the aid of banners went to promote my political aspiration at the burial of Late Arch, Endy Uche.

“I wish to make it clear that the youths did not act on my prompting and I consider it quite insensitive that such activity was carried out on my behalf under such circumstances. My trip to Igbere over the weekend was solely to mourn with the Late Arch, Endy Uche family.

“The Late Arch, Endy Uche Family is well respected family that has impacted Igbere community positively and I would never malign them in such Manner.

“For the youths responsible for this, unfortunately this is the kind of politics they are accustomed to but by God’s grace, we intend to effect a change in our youth’s perception and of course get them too busy for such activities, we are in a digital era where we do not need crude praise singing to curry favour.

“I personally wish to apologize to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for being dragged into this sorry affair.

“I’ve always perceived him as a quiet gentleman who would never resort to such public display.” –

Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso.
